Visit the town
Formerly a small town of craftsmen and winegrowers, Wissembourg has always been a welcoming place, not only rich in memories, but also pleasant to stroll around. The districts near the Abbey Church of Saints Peter and Paul, which dominates the roofs of the old town, encourage you to walk around and discover a truly remarkable architectural heritage such as the "Hôtel de Ville" (Town Hall), the Temple of St. Jean, the "Maison du Sel" (Salt House), the "Musée Westercamp" (Westercamp Museum) , the "Maison de l'Ami Fritz" (Ami-Fritz's House) as well as the "Dominican" also called "La Nef" with its "Relais Culturel Régional" (Regional Cultural Centre).
Numerous parks and leafy areas, including the Ramparts, add a welcome touch of green.
Many ways to discover the town are available : by foot, with the touristic train or the touristic cycles "Rosalies"
